A river sprite, surveying from a mossy outcrop, here to make sure the gentle racing streams can always find their way. The Dietrich family has farmed land in Alsace since the 1600. More recently, winemakers Pierre and Jean took over the biodynamic (since 2003) winery in 2016, and were the first members of the family to bottle the estateâs wines â as the grapes were previously always sold. Today they farm 18.5 hectares of vines across five different soil profiles and several different micro-climates. FUN FACT! They also manage six hectares of fruit trees from which the family also produces Pet Nats from black and red cherries, as well as Damson and Victoria plums! We want some! This is their new ânegoceâ range, meaning they are using some bought fruit from like-minded & trusted growers. Splendidly chalky multi-vitamins, sour candies, extract of Sunny D, pear lollipop, dusty lemon & green ginger. Drink alongside garlic braiding, grass weaving & wood carving.
