Introducing GW’s newest import, the earnest and expertly-equipped, Martin Vajcner! Situated near the Thaytal National Park, Martin’s eight certified organic vineyards spread across 5.2 hectares in various parts of the Znojmo wine region. We fell head over heals in love with this project on a trip last year and are thrilled to share this cutting edge producer with Ontario for the first time. This blazing n’ whimsical cuvĂ©e undergoes whole grape, semi-carbonic maceration for 10 days to lighten and heighten the aromatics and benevolent fruit. A blend of perfumed pinot noir, soft and root-y saint laurent & luscious pinot blanc. Pressed patchouli flowers taped to a card, blackberry mush, kids making dirtcastles, dill + beet salad, sour creamy tannins, spiced strawberry jam & a luxe minerality. Enjoy with eight of your closest friends, while watching Ayo Edebiri in “Bottoms” (2023).
