A local, lambrusco-esque treat with one of the most beautiful labels weâve seen in a while! We are always delightfully surprised by the fruity mixtures and explorative melding that goes on just over yonder in Guelph, Ontario. Known for combining farm-grown and foraged fruits with so much love to create wines, ciders & hybrid beverages, Head fermenter Tariq seems to have one of the most open minds and agreeable palates around, and we are just happy to live in the same province! âTwo Friendsâ is made in collaboration with their friend Meg, who owns the fantastic Two Faces Bar. A blend of darkly berried, spiced blaufrĂ€nkisch and tangy, herbaceous rotburger that were aged in oak puncheons for four years, and the savoury, French-American hybrid red grape chambourcin and earthy, verdant cab franc fermented between clay amphora, and stainless steel. Leafy wild blackberry bush, vanilla pod scrape, freshly harvested raspberries, blackberries, blackcurrants & a fine structure of grape-y tannins. Enjoy a few bottles while playing charades, Dutch Blitz or Euchre!
