An ethereal, age worthy and amphora aged skin contact worth fighting over. Available for the first time in Ontario, let us all take a moment to bask in the wines of Maria & Sepp Muster! Maria and Sepp took over the Schlossberg estate (with a history traceable back to 1727!) from Seppās father in 2000. The now 10 hectares of certified organic and biodynamic vineyards are composed of rolling slopes held together by OLD vines. The uber special āErdeā is from a parcel at the top of their hillside. FUN FACT! Sepp felt inspired by orange wine legend Josko Gravner when he decided to venture into skin contact winemaking. āErdeā is old vine green, citric sauv (80%) and lush, mineral morillon (chard) that are rested for one year on skins in amphora digging into itself, then moved to old oak barrels for 12 months after pressing, a texture development round two of sorts. PINEAPPLE from a litre container, shimmering mandarin, jasmine green tea, honey lozenge, ginger shoot, gingham structure & vanilla creme anglaise. Pour over the course of a few hours many moons from nowā¦if you can control your animal instincts of consumption long enough.Ā
