A musing, mineral, and spiced red-white blend. Brand new to GW Imports, join us in welcoming the swoon-worthy wines of Jas Swan! An openminded, creative grower and winemaker, vocal supporter of the queer community & a proud part of the new wave of natural German wine, we are in complete admiration of the cuvées and community Jas has created. Working with grapes from both her own vineyard (0.4 hectares) as well as sourced from likeminded friends, these wines are free from expectation and boundless in their potential. FUN FACT! The name Sigyn in Norse mythology means, "victorious girl-friend” #goals! A joining of the tart n’ tannic hybrid grape regent (75%) with five days of lifting semi-carbonic maceration, while the rounding, aromatic riesling (25%) sees three days of semi-carbonic maceration. Oatmeal cookie spices + raisin box (no oats), conifers, empty espresso cup & elderberry custard weight, balanced by a chunky cliff-face of minerality, and handholds of acid to cling to. Enjoy with backyard-grilled mushroom, tuna, turkey or beef burgers!
