´Un Été Partagé'

Grolleau & Gamay, Loire Valley, France

‘Un Été Partage’ means a summer together, and not-so-coincidentally we may just have the perfect red for your summer romances, be it a partner, pal or an ever-budding love affair with the one and only YOU. Laurent’s wines are emotive, spirited & operated with a tireless (hello NY chef vibez) work ethic. A common Loire blend of the mesmerizing and herbaceous grolleau (30%) to the earthy and floral gamay (70%). The grapes are destemmed and see six weeks of maceration to lock in the luring aromatics that lead us to the tongue-cocooning tannins. Violet tinged, grandma’s tickle trunk, blackberry bush, lil smoke meets stardust, sliced green peppers, black rock bitters, black pepper skins and fallen grounds, thyme & a wild boar hair bristle tannin that brushes the kiwi skin acidity. Throw in the river shallows to cool and enjoy on a rock while watching the dragonflies flutter past.
