A white of supreme craftsmanship, chiselled from stone & heaped in crispy fruits. Iole Rabasco inherited her family’s small vineyard and olive grove in the village of Pianella, sitting contently in the heart of the celebrated Abruzzo. The estate resides on steep limestone and clay slopes, never treated with chemicals. From a single, four hectare vineyard called “Cancelli”, the over 40-year-old vines are harvested and macerated for a short time to add a bucketful of roundness. FUN FACT! Each of the 13 wines she makes are named after their individual plots! Apricot, white pepper, honey-butter, gravel, blended whole citrus explosion & a warm salinity from beginning to end. Try with grilled octopus and ferry rides.
