Chiarofiore'

Trebbiano, Vermentino, Tuscany, Italy

New classics from beloved regions, able to please even that Goldilocks-of-wine friend who always needs something “just right”. FUN FACT: we were so obsessed with this wine upon first sip that we bought all remaining stock from the agent and cursed the skies we couldn't have more. Dynamic and forward thinking duo, Francesca di Benedetto and Chiara Innocenti, realized their winemaking dream together and solidified it by buying 25 hectares of vines from the University of Pisa in 2008 – bringing an exciting new perspective to the Tuscan region. A blend of acid-forward trebbiano (70%) & sauvignon-blanc-esque vermentino (30%) from organic old vines. All grapes are either direct pressed or see some skin contact for balancing tannins, then are aged on fine lees for 12 months to solidify the ultra satisfying mouthfeel. Autumn leaves, rubber nostalgia, weeds, rosebud, satsuma peel, front yard apricot jam, manuka honey & marjoram. Try with roasted red snapper, cool breezes & beat-up cotton T’s.
