Marto Wörner is a talented and experienced young winemaker, utilizing organic and biodynamic practices to express the peak of what can come from Rheinhessen. This wine is completely different each vintage, and this year, partner and fellow winemaker, Alanna Lagamba (Vin De Lagamba) took charge of one particular barrel of riesling and the rest as they say, is history. Deeply alluring and grandiose, it feels like ‘cuvee Alanna’ can speak several languages all at once and if you’re lucky, you can understand. Quince custard creamsicle, sweet vegetable murmurs, mutsu apple spritz, Ariel’s seashell necklace minerality, sand covered herbs & red salt.
