One of our favourite Austrian duos, Alex and Maria Koppitsch biodynamically farm six hectares of vines in Burgenland – the easternmost and least populated state in Austria! ‘Dió’, or ‘NUT’, is a blend of chardonnay and welschriesling that comes to us feeling verdant, mineral, and very gruner-esque! Cool reduction, lemon curd meets lime fruit roll up tingly acidity, petrol, cooling fresh herbs, pineapple, snacking on some borage flowers, nettles & a cold glass of mineral water.
