Benoit Killian, originally from Alsace, is a jazz drummer and sincere winemaker who farms a hunk of picturesque land in Burgundy that has never known a chemical touch – and features vines dating back to 1919! Made from 26-86 year old elusive and singular aligoté dorée (golden aligoté), known for its pronounced aromatics and unctuous texture – where the more common aligoté vert is driven by acidity and salinity. The grapes were direct pressed for clarity and aged in barrel to trim their claws. FUN FACT! Only 1600 bottles produced and we got 12 of them! ULTRA purity, salted lemons, fruit flowers, broth made from stones, tempered butter, unripe apples, sea monkey habitat minerality, intricate, airy & gossamer acidity.
