Benoit Killian is a modest and talented winemaker who tends to a 2.5 hectare slice of heaven in Burgundy that has never known a single chemical touch, and features vines dating back to 1919! The vivacious vineyards are grown according to biodynamic principles and absolutely nothing is added or taken away in the cellar - which Benoît actually built from scratch out of biodegradable materials (because, of course he did). The soft, angelic pinot is delicately placed in vats and left for nine days to extract wistful tannins and risqué aromatics before pressing. FUN FACT! Only 1400 bottles were produced & we got 12 of them. Finesse and simplicity, white pepper, buckets of wild strawberry, vigorous hot spring minerality, mushrooms foraging you & courteous tannins that bow when they enter a room.
