A strikingly mineral, impeccably balanced and zero-zero southern stunner. Since leaving his former mentor Gerald Oustric of Le Mazel, Sylvain Bock has settled in the town of Alba-la-Romaine, acquired seven hectares of organically certified vines, and begun producing delectable and drinkable natural wines you need to taste. Grown on limestone soils, the blend of mineral, citric chardonnay (50% from 2021 and 30% from 2022) and herbal, plump grenache blanc (20% from 2022) is a match beyond compare. FUN FACT! The leaner 2021 vintage was followed by a hot year in 2022, giving Sylvain the stellar idea of blending the two vintages to achieve balance! Oysters in shells galore, a fruity, integrated VA (volatile acidity), pear popsicle, late harvest phenolic spice ripeness, oolong, electric quince & stardust texture. Enjoy alongside soft pretzels adorned by chunky salt.
